NPCs are non-player characters who provide shops, services, guidance, and world progression across Kintara.
This page groups the main service NPCs so players can quickly find who handles banking, shops, smithing, pets, quests, housing, and economy systems.
Service NPCs
| NPC | Role | Location | Main service |
|---|---|---|---|
| Traveling Merchant | Deceased (formerly Gold vendor / community collector) | Mainland | Services offline — the merchant died in-game, and a granite tombstone ("May 22, 2026 — Jul 18, 2026") now stands where he once traded. |
| Grimjaw | Blacksmith | Frostmere | Smelts copper, iron, and silver ingots; forges copper, iron, and silver axes, swords, and pickaxes; repairs damaged gear through Smithing. |
| The Alchemist | Potion vendor / mount vendor | Mainland alchemist shop | Sells potions for gathered resources, plus one mount at a time while its 7-day offer runs. |
| Willow | Pet shop owner | Whisperwood Pet Shop | Sells one companion pet at a time while its 7-day offer runs. |
| Bank Teller | Banker | Bank | Handles item storage. |
| Quartermaster | Armory tutor | Mainland | Gives a trainer sword and explains Wilderness combat. |
| Dockhand Maren | Fishing supplies vendor | The Shores | Sells fishing rods, bait, and the Wooden Raft; trades catch up the bait ladder. |
| The Angler | Raffle keeper | The Shores | Trades cooked fish for raffle tickets — the Angler Outfit and four more prizes. |
| Slick Vinny | Name changer | The Pond | Changes a player's display name for Gold. |
| Sorrel the Stablemaster | Stablemaster | Mainland | Trains mount speed and gilds mounts. |
| Maelor the Scrollbinder | Quest master | Mainland | Redeems completed scrolls for Gold rewards. |
| The Candy Witch | Halloween trader | Mainland | Trades Candy Corn for six Halloween items until 00:00 UTC on 2 November 2026 (Halloween 2026). |
| Harun the Forgewright | Blacksmith | The Dunes West | Smelts ingots, forges tools, and repairs gear — the desert counterpart to Grimjaw. |
| Kaziir the Armoursmith | Armoursmith | The Dunes East | Forges iron and silver armor from ingots, Molten Rock, and Brute Horn. |
| Zahir the Dyeweaver | Cosmetic weaver | The Dunes West | Weaves rainbow cosmetics from complete colour sets. |

| Sahriel the Bowbinder | Bowbinder | The Dunes East | Sells the Bow (50 Gold) and fletches Arrows (20 for 100 Wood, 100 Stone and 10 Feathers). |
| Qadim the Relicweaver | Relicweaver | The Dunes East | Relic services — see his page. |
Shop and housing NPCs
| NPC | Role | Location | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
