Housing
Housing & Real Estate covers Kintara's player-owned residences. Each residence comes with a key that grants access and can be walked into and customized with furniture purchased from Bartholomew at the furniture showroom. Every property can also run a Money Printer for passive Gold income. Keys are the most sought after, rare, and expensive items in all of Kintara. At launch they were purchasable directly with Gold, but are now exclusively obtained through the Marketplace or player-to-player trading.
Key Types
There are three tiers of keys, each unlocking different residence types:
| Key | Unlocks |
|---|---|
| Flat · Trailer | |
| Apartment · House | |
| Penthouse · Mansion |
Money Printer
Every property owner can buy and activate a Money Printer inside their residence — a machine that earns passive Gold by paying out a share of the Casino's losses.
- Bought for 1,000 Gold from a pop-up option while standing inside your property.
- One-time activation, no fuel or upkeep. It accumulates Gold passively (even while offline) and is claimed at will.
- One printer per property.
- Your cut of casino losses scales with your key tier — Gold Key properties earn the highest cut, then Silver Key, then Bronze Key.
See Money Printer for full mechanics and the tier payout table.
Real Estate By Region
Mainland
The Mainland is the primary urban hub for real estate and offers three property tiers.

| House | Mid-tier | 50 Gold | Standard Mainland home. | ||
| Mansion | Luxury | 100 Gold | Top of the Mainland real-estate ladder. |
The Pond
The Pond offers apartment-style residences with a waterside view. Housing NPCs Beauregard and Marguerite are located here to assist with property tours and purchases.

Customization
Every residence can be walked into and decorated with furniture. Furniture is sold by Bartholomew at the furniture showroom on a rotating basis. See Furniture for available items.
Obtaining A Residence
Keys were originally purchasable with Gold at game launch. They are no longer available through any in-game source and can only be obtained by:
- Buying from another player on the Marketplace
- Direct player-to-player trading
Due to their limited supply and high demand, keys are consistently among the most expensive items listed on the Marketplace.
Bank Storage
Players can also expand their Bank storage by purchasing additional pages with Gold. This is separate from housing but also a significant Gold sink:
| Bank page | Slots added | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Page 1 | 48 slots | Free (default) |
| Page 2 | 48 slots | 10 Gold |
| Pages 3–6 | 48 slots each | Cost increases per page |
Placeable Structures
In addition to housing, players can drop small functional objects in the world.
| Object | Function |
|---|---|
| Money Printer | Property machine — earns passive Gold from Casino losses. One per property, 1,000 Gold, cut scales with key tier. |
| Firepit | Provides healing for the player who placed it and nearby allies. |
NPCs
| NPC | Role | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Beauregard | Housing guide | The Pond — assists with property tours and purchases. |
| Marguerite | Housing guide | The Pond — assists with property tours and purchases. |
| Bartholomew | Furniture shop | Furniture showroom — sells decorative items for residences. |
| Site Foreman | Building guide | Mainland — gives the starter Hammer for Shack construction. |
