Nadeen the Sandcook is an NPC who operates a cooking stall in The Dunes (West). She specializes in crafting Health Potion+, the only healing potion that works in the harsh desert environment.

Regular potions and food are useless in The Dunes — heat damage bypasses shields and goes straight to HP. Nadeen's Health Potion+ is essential for any serious Dunes exploration or farming.

How to craft Health Potion+

Visit Nadeen's stall in The Dunes (West) with the required ingredients:

The cacti cost was cut from 50 to 15 in a late-July 2026 update. Once you provide ingredients, Nadeen crafts quickly:

Regular Health Potions, Cooked Chicken and cooked fish do nothing in the Dunes. Shield Potions still work against scorpions and other players, but the heat ignores shields. Health Potion+ does not stop the heat damage itself; for full heat immunity, wear Desert Robes.

Dunes Healing System

In The Dunes, only two methods restore HP:

1. Health Potion+ (Nadeen's craft) — 50 HP per use, stackable, farmable 2. Cacti (harvested on the spot) — 20 HP per cactus eaten, no cooldown, and they can only be eaten in the Dunes

Nadeen bridges the gap: her potions let players farm longer without stopping to harvest constantly.

Crafting Cost Analysis

Each Health Potion+ costs 15 Cacti, 1 Health Potion, and 5 Brute Horn. Cacti are quick to harvest on the spot (Iron or Silver Axe + Woodcutting 20), and the base potion comes cheap from The Alchemist — the bulk of the effort is farming Brute Horn from Magma Brutes in Emberstone, a deliberate cross-realm cost.

Tips

• Stock before heading out: Bring Brute Horn from Emberstone and Health Potions from the Alchemist, cut cacti on the spot, and craft a full stack at Nadeen
• Batch crafting: Queue up to 500 potions in one request to minimize return trips
• Emergency backup: Always carry Cacti for free on-the-spot healing between crafts
• Long expeditions: A stack of 100 Health Potion+ gives 5,000 HP of healing
• Desert Robe alternative: If you own the full Desert Robes set (top + bottom, dropped by Giant Scorpions), that's passive heat immunity (no potion cost)

Nadeen's stall is located in The Dunes (West). Entry points:

• South from The Pond → Dunes West (Nadeen's location)
• South from The Shores → Dunes East

No level requirement to enter or visit Nadeen. The Dunes are a paid realm: free-to-play accounts can't enter any Dunes map.
