Desert Robes is a two-piece functional cosmetic set that grants complete immunity to heat damage in The Dunes. The set consists of the Desert Robe Top — a hooded desert robe that falls to the ankle and takes the hat and shirt slots together — and the Desert Robe Bottom, loose robe bottoms worn over the legs.

When both pieces are worn together, they provide permanent, passive heat immunity — allowing indefinite exploration of The Dunes without Health Potion+ or Cacti harvesting.

The Set

Desert Robes consists of two pieces that must be worn together:

Heat Immunity

When both pieces are equipped:

• Heat damage negated: 1 HP every 10 seconds is completely prevented
• Passive effect: No activation or cooldown — immunity is always on while wearing
• Duration: Lasts as long as you wear both pieces
• Durability: Permanent (no durability decay)

Heat itself has a few extra rules worth knowing:

• Grace period: Heat damage only begins 30 seconds after entering a Dunes map; leaving and re-entering restarts the grace period.
• Ignores defenses: Heat damage bypasses shields and ignores armor — the full Desert Robe set is the only gear-based protection.

The Desert Robe set is the most cost-effective long-term solution for Dunes farming once acquired.

Both pieces drop from Giant Scorpions at equal rates:

Most players acquire Desert Robes passively while farming Medium Scrolls from Giant Scorpions, which drop at 1/1,000 from the same mobs.

Desert Robes are inspired by traditional Sahara desert clothing:
