Cosmetics are wearable appearance items that change how a character looks. They do not add combat power, gathering bonuses, or movement speed.
Cosmetics can be obtained from several sources: the rotating cosmetic shop, the spinner wheel, boss drops and activities such as lava pit fishing. Most cosmetics are only available for a limited time — shop cosmetics rotate daily or weekly, and spinner wheel cosmetics run for a limited period before disappearing. Bosses remain in the game but drop different items over time, meaning older boss drop cosmetics are no longer obtainable once the drop pool changes.
Once a cosmetic leaves circulation, its value is determined by the community based on rarity, appearance, and demand. Players can acquire out-of-circulation cosmetics through the Marketplace or by trading directly with other players.
