''"Welcome to my loom, traveler. I weave the colours of the desert into cosmetics for those with vision. Bring me a complete set of one style — all the hues — and I will transform them into something extraordinary. Rainbow capes and hats, woven with precision."''
''"You found me… few do. I beat plate now, not blades — a sword ends a fight, armour is what walks you out of the sands afterward. Bring me ingots, molten rock and brute horn and I will plate you head to heel: iron first, then silver when your hammer arm has earned it. Every piece you wear widens the shield you carry. But know this before you spend the horn — iron will not sit on you below Combat 15, and silver refuses anyone under Combat 25. Plate is no use to a body that cannot carry it."''

== Sourcing Colour Sets ==
Rainbow cosmetics require complete colour sets. Zahir does not sell individual colours — you must source them yourself:

Assembling a full rainbow set requires gathering or trading for each individual colour variant.

== Tips ==
* '''Complete sets only:''' Zahir requires ALL colours of a set. Missing even one colour means no weaving
* '''Batch weaving:''' If you have multiple complete sets, you can weave multiple rainbow cosmetics in succession (~25 seconds each)
* '''Marketplace farming:''' Hunt the marketplace for missing colour variants to complete your sets
* '''Tradeable output:''' Woven rainbow cosmetics are fully tradeable — sell them or keep them for flex value
* '''Visual uniqueness:''' Rainbow items cycle through all their colours, making them visually distinctive from single-colour cosmetics

== Cosmetic Weaving System ==
Zahir's weaving is unique to cosmetics — no gear, no tools, no resources other than the cosmetics themselves.

Kaziir the Armoursmith
Role Armoursmith
Location The Dunes (East)
Services Forges iron and silver armor from ingots, Molten Rock, and Brute Horn

Kaziir the Armoursmith is an NPC in The Dunes (East) who forges Kintara's armor. All eight iron and silver pieces are crafted at his window from ingots, Molten Rock, and Brute Horn. The blacksmiths Grimjaw and Harun the Forgewright forge tools and handle repairs — they do not craft armor; Kaziir does.

Dialogue

When you approach Kaziir:

"You found me… few do. Plate is no use to a body that cannot carry it."

(His line about widening your shield is older than the current armor system: armor now reduces the damage you take rather than enlarging your shield.)

Armor recipes

Each piece is forged from ingots, Molten Rock, and Brute Horn, gated on your Smithing level. The craft countdown is 30 seconds per piece.

Wearing armor

Crafting is gated on Smithing, but wearing armor is gated on Combat: level 15 for iron and 25 for silver. A smith below those levels can still craft the plate and trade it on the marketplace.

Armor grants damage reduction, not a shield pool: the full iron set reduces incoming damage by 10%, and the full silver set by 15%.

A player wearing no armor at all takes 50% extra damage from the Venomweaver, Giant Scorpions, King Scorpia and Magma Brutes. Wearing any single piece removes that penalty.

Armor basics

  • Tiers: Iron (entry level) and Silver (the top tier).
  • Damage reduction per piece: iron helmet/body/legs/boots 2/4/3/1%; silver 3/6/4.5/1.5%.
  • Durability: every worn piece loses one point of durability per hit you take, and a piece lasts 2,500 hits.
  • Repairs: Kaziir does not repair armor — take worn pieces to Grimjaw or Harun the Forgewright, where a full repair costs 60% of the original materials.
  • Selling: armor can only be listed on the Marketplace at full durability; player trades accept worn pieces.

Location

Kaziir can be found in The Dunes (East). Entry point:

  • South from The Shores → Dunes East (Kaziir's location)

No level requirement to enter or visit Kaziir. The Dunes are a paid realm: free-to-play accounts can't enter any Dunes map.
