Mobs are the hostile, tameable, and passive wildlife found across Kintara.

Some mobs are fought for Combat XP or rare rewards, while others are part of gathering, cooking, or quest progression. Almost all hostile mobs drop Beginner Scrolls, Medium Scrolls, or Hard Scrolls as passive bonuses, and the Magma Brute, King Scorpia and the Venomweaver can also drop Gold.

Note: Combat XP per kill is the same whatever sword you use — a higher sword tier only kills faster.

These mobs are primary combat trainers found across Kintara's open wilderness and desert zones. They drop Scrolls and unique rewards on independent rolls per kill.

Giant Scorpions (The Dunes): 200 HP, hits for 9–20 damage, 6-tile aggro range, 20-second respawn (9 in Dunes East, 6 in Dunes West, 8 in Dunes South). Non-aggressive while riding a King Scorpia Mount (cover breaks for 30 seconds if attacked).

• Base XP: 110 Combat XP per kill
• Medium Scroll drops: 1 in 1,000 chance (fastest farming spot for Medium Scrolls)
• Robe drops: Desert Robe Top and Desert Robe Bottom at 1 in 5,000 each
• Chase drops: the four Carapace Set pieces at 1 in 125,000 each and the War Camel at 1 in 200,000

Gold drops (Zombies/Scorpions/Dragons/Wolves): None — these mobs don't drop Gold Beginner Scroll drops (Zombies/Dragons/Wolves): 1 in 1,000 chance per kill → Unique quest scroll redeemable to Maelor the Scrollbinder for 2–5 Gold Other drops / mechanics:

• Dragons drop Dragon Mount at 4%.
• Wolves can be tamed into Wolf Mount at 10% with Cooked Chicken.

A formidable world boss located in The Dunes South within The Dunes. Features 4,000 HP and appears in region-wide spawn waves roughly every 20–40 minutes; once killed on a server, he stays down until his region's next wave. Bites for 23–36 damage (riposte hits for 10), moves at twice normal speed through scenery, and roughly 1 bite in 5 throws the target 6 tiles away. Loot is awarded to the top 3 living damage dealers on death.

Gold drops: 1 in 100 chance per kill → 18–30 Gold (random amount per drop) Hard Scroll drops: 1 in 500 chance per kill (if it misses, a Medium Scroll at 1 in 300 — never both) → main source of Hard Scrolls, which the Venomweaver also drops (1 in 1,000) Mount drop: King Scorpia Mount at 1 in 1,500 chance (duplicates allowed; free-play accounts excluded)

The strongest combat encounter in Kintara, located in Glade Cave. Requires Total Level 20 to enter. Squad-based encounter with queue and spectator system.

Base Combat XP: 750 XP Gold drops: 1 in 200 chance per kill → 1–25 Gold (random amount per drop) Armor drops: Venomweaver Suit pieces — Helm, Chestplate, Legguards, Boots (each 1 in 5,000). Equip all 4 for web immunity. Rare pets: Weaverling (1 in 25,000) and Venomweaver Pet (1 in 50,000) Material drops: Always salvages Wood (1–800), Stone (1–500), Coal (1–400) regardless of other rolls

High-level hostile mob found exclusively in Emberstone. Requires Total Level 25 to access the zone.

Combat stats: 150 HP, 8-tile aggro range, 3 active at once, respawn 90 seconds Base Combat XP: 100 XP Gold drops: 1 in 350 chance per kill → 1–5 Gold (random amount per drop) Brute Horn: 1 in 5 chance per kill → used in Demon Chest purchases, potion brewing, armor crafting, and recipes Medium Scroll drops: 1 in 1,500 chance per kill → Unique quest scroll redeemable to Maelor the Scrollbinder for 6–15 Gold Pet drops: Magma Brute Pet at 1 in 500 (free-play accounts excluded)

All drops are rolled independently per kill — a single kill can yield Gold, Brute Horn, Medium Scroll, and pet chance simultaneously.

Passive, non-hostile mob used in the Wolf Mount taming chain. Found throughout Whisperwood.

Raw Chicken: Guaranteed drop per kill, along with a Feather (20 HP: 4 hits with the starter sword, 1 with any forged sword) Use: Cook with Wood at a roast pit to make Cooked Chicken, then feed to Wild Wolf for 10% taming chance

Beyond standard XP and loot, mobs drop rare bonuses:

• Wilderness mobs (Zombie/Dragon/Wolf): Beginner Scroll at 1 in 1,000
• Scorpions & Magma Brutes: Medium Scroll (1 in 1,000 for Scorpions, 1 in 1,500 for Magma Brutes)
• King Scorpia: Hard Scroll at 1 in 500, or a Medium Scroll at 1 in 300 (one scroll per kill)
• Venomweaver: Medium Scroll at 1 in 600 and Hard Scroll at 1 in 1,000 (one scroll per kill)
• Gold: only Magma Brutes (1 in 350), King Scorpia (1 in 100) and the Venomweaver (1 in 200) drop Gold

These are server-rolled and independent from other drops.

While not a mob drop, woodcutting has an ultra-rare chance (1 in 150,000 per tree) to produce Pnut, a rare squirrel companion pet. Mentioned here for completeness as a parallel ultra-rare reward system.
