A Hard Scroll is an elite, soulbound quest item that drops exclusively from King Scorpia in Dunes West. Representing the highest scroll tier in Kintara, each scroll demands massive resource deliveries followed by a fixed sequence of high-tier combat objectives. Complete all requirements to redeem it at Maelor the Scrollbinder for massive Gold payouts and rare cosmetic rolls.

How to get

Hard Scrolls drop **only** from the world boss King Scorpia in Dunes West. Drops are awarded based on independent rolls among qualifying top damage dealers.

Tasks

Unlike lower scroll tiers, Hard Scrolls feature set requirements with no random non-combat bonus rolls:

Mandatory Material Deliveries

All five material delivery tasks are required on every Hard Scroll:

• 4,000–5,000 Wood
• 3,000–4,000 Stone
• 2,500–3,500 Coal
• 20–50 Brute Horn
• 100–200 Molten Rock

Fixed Combat Tasks

Once material delivery objectives are completed, every Hard Scroll requires the following three combat objectives in exact sequence: 1. Defeat Venomweaver 5–10 times 2. Kill 10–30 scorpions 3. Kill 10–40 Magma Brutes

Reward

Bring the fully completed scroll to Maelor the Scrollbinder to claim:

• **30–50 Gold**
• **5 independent 1-in-500 cosmetic rolls** for the following tradeable items:
  • Flaming Helmet
  • Gold Cane
  • Emerald Cane
  • Ruby Cane
  • Sapphire Cane

Cosmetic Roll Mechanics: Each cosmetic roll is completely separate, meaning players can win multiple cosmetics, unique duplicates, or none from a single scroll redemption.

Rules & Tips

• **Soulbound & Capacity:** Hard Scrolls cannot be traded, sold, or banked. Players are capped at holding a maximum of **5 scrolls at once**.
• **Permadeath Loss:** Dying anywhere in the Wilderness burns all scrolls currently in your inventory to ash. Always store high-value goods safely and exercise caution.
• **Guaranteed Objectives:** Objectives no longer pull from low-tier task pools (such as cooking chickens) or require defeating world bosses like King Scorpia, ensuring progression depends strictly on dedicated farming.
