The Dunes are a desert realm south of The Shores, split into two connected 40×40 maps — The Dunes East and The Dunes West. Heat drains your HP over time, ordinary food stops working, and open PvP applies outside the fenced camps. King Scorpia rules the western sands.

Entry: Walk to the south edge of The Shores (Total Level 20+) or south from The Pond (no level required). You get a 30-second heat grace on arrival; dying in the Dunes respawns you at The Shores.

What's Here

Feature	Use
Heat damage	After 30s grace: 1 HP every 10 seconds (bypasses shield). Safe camps do not stop heat.
Cactus	Instant 20 HP heal (Dunes-only). Cut with Iron Axe+ at Woodcutting 20.
Giant Scorpion	200 HP pack mobs — Desert Robes (1/500 each piece) and Medium Scroll (1/500).
King Scorpia	World boss in Dunes West — Hard Scroll, King Scorpia Mount, gold.
Safe camps	Two fenced pens per map — no scorpions/PvP; thin farming (2 cacti + 2 silver nodes).
NPCs	Kaziir the Armoursmith (East), Harun the Forgewright, Nadeen the Sandcook, Zahir the Dyeweaver (West).

Survival

Rule	Details
Food / potions	Regular Health Potions, cooked chicken, and cooked fish do nothing. Shield and Strength potions still work.
Health Potion+	50 HP over 5s — crafted by Nadeen the Sandcook (50 cacti + 1 Health Potion + 5 brute horn).
Desert Robes	Top + bottom together = full heat immunity. Each piece 1 in 500 from Giant Scorpions.
Death	Full loot outside camps (except mounts, cosmetics, pets); 5-minute tombstones; respawn at The Shores.
No trading	Profile card only — no trades, wagers, or duels.
