Halloween 2026
Halloween 2026 is Kintara's Halloween event. It has been live on the servers since 20 October 2026 and runs until Monday 2 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC — the end of Sunday 1 November. While it runs, dusk falls over the Mainland and most of the outdoor realms, the Chest Vending Machine sells the Haunted Chest, zombies can drop the Zombie Mask, monsters, trees and fish pay Candy Corn to spend at The Candy Witch, and the shops carry Halloween items. For the event's last night, from 30 October 2026 until 00:00 UTC on 1 November 2026, the Halloween Bonfire burned in the Mainland town and the Cosmetic Shop ran the Halloween Night Shop.
Around the world
- Dusk lighting over the Mainland, The Shores and The Pond, and since 23 October 2026 over Whisperwood, the Wilderness (with the Wilderness Extension and the Expanded Wilderness), Frostmere, every realm of The Dunes and The Sunken Isles too. Emberstone keeps its own red light.
- Jack-o'-lanterns and gravestones around the Mainland plaza.
- Since 23 October 2026, Halloween props in the other realms: ghost wisps, glowing mushrooms and jack-o'-lanterns in Whisperwood; a fenced graveyard by the safe camp in the Wilderness and the Expanded Wilderness; bones across the Dunes; frosted jack-o'-lanterns and snow-capped gravestones in Frostmere; and little sheet ghosts over the Sunken Isles.
- Since 23 October 2026, a cobwebbed candelabra, dripping candles and a row of pumpkins inside the Bank, the Cosmetic Shop, the Alchemist Shop, the Furni Shop, the Whisperwood Pet Shop (candles and pumpkins only) and Grimjaw's forge in Frostmere.
- None of these props are shown on iPhone or iPad, and none of them can be clicked.
- Monsters in costume: zombies have glowing pumpkin heads, and since 23 October 2026 wolves are ghostly with glowing green eyes, Giant Scorpions are bone-white skeletons, Magma Brutes are jack-o'-lanterns with a carved grin, and the Whisperwood Chickens wear witch hats.
Everything returns to normal on its own when the event ends.
Haunted Chest
The Haunted Chest is an orange chest with a jack-o'-lantern on it. It is sold at the Chest Vending Machine on the Mainland for 15 Gold, it is free to open, and it is listed first in the machine. Since 00:00 UTC on 26 October 2026 (week two), each open rolls a tier, then a prize from that tier:

From 20 to 25 October 2026 the prizes were the Witch Hat (30%), Scarecrow Hat (13%), Bat Wings (5%), Vampire Cloak (1.2%), Pumpkin Head (0.6%) and Black Party Hat (0.2% — 1 in 500), with a tool or a 5–200 stack of materials in Blue. Those six left the chest for good when week two began; a chest opened since then rolls the week-two prizes, whenever it was bought. After Candy Corn ends on 2 November 2026, the Blue tier goes back to tools and materials. See Haunted Chest.

Zombie Mask
Every zombie you kill has a 1 in 1,500 chance to drop the Zombie Mask until the event ends (it was 1 in 500 until 23 October 2026). You must hold at least 1,000 $KINS, and restricted accounts can't get it. The mask goes straight into your cosmetics bag; if that bag is full, the mask is lost (the game tells you).
Candy Corn and the Candy Witch
Since 23 October 2026, monsters, trees and fish pay Candy Corn, and The Candy Witch, who stands just south-west of the Chest Vending Machine on the Mainland, trades it for six Halloween items:
- Every kill of a Wild Zombie, Wild Wolf, Wild Dragon, Giant Scorpion or Magma Brute pays 1 Candy Corn. King Scorpia pays 30 and the Venomweaver 40 to each player who helped.
- Every felled tree has a 1 in 20 chance at a Candy Corn, and every catch a 1 in 25 to 1 in 5 chance, depending on the fish — see Candy Corn.
- Since 26 October 2026, half of all Haunted Chest opens pay 25–50 Candy Corn.
- From midday on 31 October 2026 until 00:00 UTC on 1 November 2026, every candy drop from monsters, trees and fish paid double — the Venomweaver 80 and King Scorpia 60. The drop odds didn't change.
- The Frost Wolf and Frost Troll in Frostmere pay none.
- Some accounts, such as free accounts, don't earn candy.

Each item can be bought any number of times, and all six can be traded. Candy Corn itself can't be traded or sold, and only candy in your backpack and hotbar counts at the Witch. Trading 1,000 Candy Corn with her in total earns the Trick or Treat badge.
Halloween cosmetics
The event brought fourteen cosmetics. All of them are tradeable, and none is sold for Gold. The first six came from the Haunted Chest from 20 to 25 October 2026 and can no longer be won; five new ones replaced them on 26 October 2026.

Halloween Night Shop
From 30 October 2026 until 00:00 UTC on 1 November 2026 — the same window as the Halloween Bonfire — the Cosmetic Shop sold twelve whole horror outfits for 100 Gold each. Each buy gave the whole outfit, you could buy as many as you liked, and the gold could come from your bags and your bank. Every outfit bought also added 50 points to your Bonfire score.

Every piece can be traded and listed on the Marketplace. The Night Shop closed at 00:00 UTC on 1 November 2026, and the outfits will never be sold again.
Halloween Bonfire
From 30 October 2026 until 00:00 UTC on 1 November 2026 the fountain in the Mainland town was a giant bonfire. Players burned tradeable items on it for points, and the points ranked a server-wide board with its own rewards. See Halloween Bonfire.

The Furni Shop lists the five Halloween decor pieces in a Halloween section above its regular catalogue. Each one takes up one tile (1x1) and blocks walking. The Undead Charger, the Rotling and the Mimic are event items too: no shop sells them after 2 November 2026.
