Molten Rock is a material gathered from the lava pits in Emberstone using the Fire-Resistant Fishing Rod. It is the Emberstone equivalent of Fish caught at The Pond and The Shores. Its main uses are buying Demon Chests at the Chest Vending Machine and armor crafting at Kaziir the Armoursmith in The Dunes.

Gathering

Equip a Fire-Resistant Fishing Rod (15 Gold at the Shores bait stall) and cast at a live lava fishing spot in Emberstone. No other rod works in lava — and the fireproof rod works nowhere else. Like all fishing, only live spots bite: Emberstone runs 2 live spots at a time, rotating every 2–5 minutes across its three lava pits. Emberstone requires Total Level 25 to enter and is closed to free accounts (those holding under 1,000 $KINS).

Molten Rock cannot be cooked.

EXP rates

Base Fishing XP: 125 per haul. A bite comes 20–30 seconds after each cast, so the table below assumes about two hauls a minute — a best case that ignores walking between spots as they rotate.

Tips

• Emberstone requires Total Level 25 to enter — train all five core skills first — and you must hold 1,000 $KINS.
• Molten Rock counts toward Fishing XP the same way as regular Fish — so farming it for Demon Chests also levels Fishing at the same time.
• You need 100 Molten Rock per Demon Chest — that's 100 lava hauls, which doubles as roughly 12,500 Fishing XP per chest's worth.
