Mobs are the hostile, tameable, and passive wildlife found across Kintara.

Some mobs are fought for Combat XP or rare rewards, while others are part of gathering, cooking, or quest progression. Almost all mobs now drop Gold, Beginner Scrolls, or Medium Scrolls as passive bonuses.

These three mobs are the primary combat trainers in Kintara's Wilderness zones. All three now drop Gold, Beginner Scrolls, and other rewards on independent rolls per kill.

Gold drops: 1 in 500 chance per kill → 1 Gold when it drops Beginner Scroll drops: 1 in 1,000 chance per kill → Unique quest scroll redeemable to Maelor the Scrollbinder for 2–5 Gold Other drops: Dragons drop Dragon Mount at 4%. Wolves can be tamed into Wolf Mount at 10% with Cooked Chicken.

The strongest combat encounter in Kintara, located in Glade Cave. Requires Total Level 20 Combat to enter. Squad-based encounter with queue and spectator system.

Gold drops: 1 in 100 chance per kill → 1–25 Gold (random amount per drop) Armor drops: Venomweaver Suit pieces — Helm, Chestplate, Legguards, Boots (each 1 in 5,000). Equip all 4 for web immunity. Rare cosmetic: Purple Party Hat (1 in 10,000) Material drops: Always salvages Wood (1–800), Stone (1–500), Coal (1–400) regardless of other rolls

High-level hostile mob found exclusively in Emberstone. Requires Total Level 25 to access the zone.

Combat stats: 7 hits to kill, 8-tile aggro range, 3 active at once, respawn 30 seconds Gold drops: 1 in 350 chance per kill → 1–5 Gold (random amount per drop) Brute Horn: 1 in 5 chance per kill → used in Demon Chest purchases and other recipes Medium Scroll drops: 1 in 750 chance per kill → Unique quest scroll redeemable to Maelor the Scrollbinder for 15–28 Gold Pet drops: Rare Magma Brute Pet (chance unconfirmed)

All drops are rolled independently per kill — a single kill can yield Gold, Brute Horn, Medium Scroll, and pet chance simultaneously.

Passive, non-hostile mob used in the Wolf Mount taming chain. Found throughout Whisperwood.

Raw Chicken: Guaranteed drop per kill (2 sword hits to kill) Use: Cook with Wood at a roast pit to make Cooked Chicken, then feed to Wild Wolf for 10% taming chance

Beyond standard XP and loot, mobs drop rare bonuses:

• **Wilderness mobs (Zombie/Dragon/Wolf):** Beginner Scroll at 1 in 1,000
• **Magma Brutes:** Medium Scroll at 1 in 750
• **All mobs:** Gold drops (rates vary by mob type and zone)

These are server-rolled and independent from other drops.

While not a mob drop, woodcutting has an ultra-rare chance (1 in 150,000 per tree) to produce Pnut, a rare squirrel companion pet. Mentioned here for completeness as a parallel ultra-rare reward system.
