Location	Mainland, beside the furniture shop
Services	Gives a starter axe and replaces lost ones.

The Lumberjack is an early woodcutting NPC found on the Mainland, next to the furniture shop. New players visit the Lumberjack to receive an Axe and begin training Woodcutting. The Lumberjack will also hand out a replacement axe to players who have lost or no longer carry one.

Step	Action	Result
1	Get an Axe from the Lumberjack.	You can chop trees in the Wilderness.
2	Chop trees for Wood.	Earn Woodcutting XP.
3	Forge a copper, iron ( Lvl 2 Axe), or silver axe at a blacksmith.	Faster swings (+5% copper, +10% iron, +15% silver). Yield and XP per swing stay the same as the starter axe.
4	Return to the Lumberjack if the axe is lost.	Receive a replacement Axe.
