Halloween 2026
Halloween 2026 is Kintara's Halloween event. It has been live on the servers since 20 October 2026 and runs until Monday 2 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC — the end of Sunday 1 November. While it runs, dusk falls over the Mainland, The Shores and The Pond, the Chest Vending Machine sells the Haunted Chest, zombies can drop the Zombie Mask, and the shops carry Halloween items.
Around the world
- Dusk lighting over the Mainland, The Shores and The Pond.
- Jack-o'-lanterns and gravestones around the Mainland plaza. These props are not shown on iPhone or iPad.
- Zombies have glowing pumpkin heads.
Everything returns to normal on its own when the event ends.
Haunted Chest
The Haunted Chest is an orange chest with a jack-o'-lantern on it. It is sold at the Chest Vending Machine on the Mainland for 15 Gold, it is free to open, and it is listed first in the machine. Each open rolls a tier, then a prize from that tier:
| Tier | Chance per open | Prize |
|---|---|---|
| Blue | 50% | A random tool (the Starter or Iron version of the Sword, Pickaxe or Axe) or a 5–200 stack of Wood, Stone, Coal or Iron Ore |
| Purple | 30% | Witch Hat |
| Pink | 13% | Scarecrow Hat |
| Red | 5% | Bat Wings |
| Gold | 2% | Vampire Cloak (1.2% of all opens), Pumpkin Head (0.6%) or Black Party Hat (0.2% — 1 in 500) |
Every chest — not just this one — checks that you have room for any prize it could give before it opens, and tells you which bag to clear if you don't. See Chest Vending Machine.
Zombie Mask
Every zombie you kill has a 1 in 500 chance to drop the Zombie Mask until the event ends. You must hold at least 1,000 $KINS, and restricted accounts can't get it. The mask goes straight into your cosmetics bag; if that bag is full, the mask is lost (the game tells you).

The event brought seven cosmetics. All of them are tradeable, and none is sold in any shop.
