Most early routes begin here: north leads into the Wilderness, east leads to The Pond, and south leads to Whisperwood.

Services
The Mainland has most of Kintara's early-game services in one place. The Bank keeps items safe, the Traveling Merchant turns gathered resources into Gold, and the Casino offers roulette and blackjack. The plaza Spinner Wheel grants one free spin per rolling 24-hour window (players with the top-tier $KINS holder perk get two); spinning requires Total Level 5.
The Alchemist Shop sells potions for gathered resources and a weekly rotating mount. The Wishing Well lets players make real charity donations for raffle prizes. The Furni Shop sells furniture and housing decorations for player-owned properties.
Furni Shop
The Furni Shop is a furniture showroom on the Mainland operated by Bartholomew. Players can browse and buy furniture using Gold from their backpack.
The shop contains a regular furniture catalogue and a featured Limited Rare section. Catalogue items are organised by furniture type and style, while the shop interface also includes search and filtering options.
Furniture purchased from the shop is stored in the player's Furni bag. Players can use their furniture inside properties they own, where pieces can be placed, moved, and rotated.
The catalogue is permanent — items stay on sale with no timer. Only the Limited Rare slot rotates, carrying one featured offer at a time. Furniture can also be listed on the Marketplace under the Furni category.
See Furni Shop for the full shop layout, furniture catalogue, and purchase details.
Healing
The central Fountain Plaza restores 20 HP every 2 seconds while you stand nearby. This makes the Mainland the safest place to recover after fighting in the Wilderness. It was also the traditional recovery spot after duelling in the PvP Arena, before the public arena queue was removed.
NPCs
| NPC | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Quartermaster | Combat guide | Gives starter Sword and explains Wilderness combat. |
| Lumberjack | Woodcutting guide | Gives and replaces Axe for tree chopping. |
| Old Miner | Mining guide | Gives and replaces Pickaxe for mining. |
| Site Foreman | Building guide | Gives Hammer and explains construction basics. |
| Bank Teller | Storage service | Manages Bank deposits and withdrawals. |
| Pit Boss | Casino floor manager | Two Pit Bosses explain blackjack and roulette rules on the casino floor. |
| The Alchemist | Potion and mount vendor | Sells combat potions for resources and a weekly rotating mount. |
| Bartholomew | Furniture shopkeeper | Operates the Furni Shop and sells catalogue furniture and featured limited-rare pieces. |
| The Constable | Investigator (The Watch) | Guards the Traveling Merchant crime scene; explains the ongoing murder investigation. |
Connections
| Direction | Destination | Use |
|---|---|---|
| North | Wilderness | Gathering, mining, woodcutting, combat training, PvP risk. |
| East | The Pond | Fishing, cooking, roast pits, luxury apartments. |
| South | Whisperwood | Pet shop, chickens, roast pits, player shacks. |
| Northeast plaza | Minigame Hub | The plaza arrows now open the Minigame Hub. This was previously the walk-in entrance to the PvP Arena; the public arena queue was removed, and the arena venue survives only for private wager fights. |
New Player Path
- Talk to the Quartermaster and get a Sword.
- Get an Axe from the Lumberjack, a Pickaxe from the Old Miner, and a Hammer from the Site Foreman.
- Heal at the Fountain before leaving town.
- Go north to the Wilderness for early Woodcutting, Mining, and Combat.
- Return to the Bank often so you do not risk carrying too much.
- Use gathered resources with the Traveling Merchant to earn Gold.
- Visit the Furni Shop and speak with Bartholomew when you own a property and want to decorate it.
