The Wishing Well is an interactive structure on the Mainland that lets players make real-money donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Memphis, TN, USA) through donate.gg. Donations are entered in USD and converted to SOL at the live price before being sent on-chain.

Important: The Wishing Well is a real charity donation — your money goes directly to St. Jude, not to Kintara. In-game rewards (raffle entries and Donor badge) are a thank-you for donating, not a purchase.

How to donate

1. Walk up to the Wishing Well on Mainland and open the donation panel.
2. Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, or MetaMask) if you haven't already.
3. Enter a USD donation amount — presets are $5, $10, $25, $50, or any custom amount.
4. The panel shows an approximate SOL total at the live price.
5. Optionally tick Burn $KINS for 2.5× raffle entries (see below).
6. Optionally tick Donate anonymously to hide your name from the public leaderboard.
7. Confirm the on-chain transaction in your wallet — donate.gg processes and converts the gift for St. Jude.

$KINS burn bonus

Ticking the Burn $KINS option burns the same USD value in $KINS alongside your SOL donation, multiplying your raffle entries by 2.5×. The $KINS is permanently removed from supply — this is one of the game's confirmed burn mechanics alongside the paid spinner wheel.

Donor badge

Every player who donates any amount receives the Donor profile badge:

"Donated to charity through the Wishing Well."

The badge is awarded regardless of raffle outcome — all donors receive it.

Tips

• Any donation amount qualifies for the Donor badge and raffle entries — there is no minimum.
• The $KINS burn option is optional but significantly improves raffle odds at 2.5× entries.
• Donating anonymously hides your name from the public donate.gg leaderboard but still earns the badge and raffle entries.
• The Wishing Well is separate from the Traveling Merchant — merchant material donations and Wishing Well charity donations are completely different systems.
