Kintara has 6 Hotkey Bars where you can equip your Tools, Equipment, and Potions.

Before you can use them, open your Inventory → Drag the Tools, Equipment, or Potions into your Hotkey Bars.

  3. Point your mouse cursor at the Pond, Shores, Water, or Lava Pit to start fishing

Using Potions

  1. Tap 4 or 5 on your keyboard (or the assigned number after dragging your potion into the hotkey bar)
  2. Double tap the same number to use your selected Potion
Note: It takes at least 3 seconds to cast the potion, plus 2 seconds for the effect to reflect on your character.

Mounts

Mounts are the only way to greatly increase a player's movement speed.

Getting Your First Mount

  1. Go to Whisperwood
  2. Kill chickens to get Raw Chicken resources
  3. Cook the Raw Chicken to get Cooked Chicken
  4. Drag the Cooked Chicken to your Hotkey Bar
  5. Go to the East Wilderness
  6. Tap/select the Cooked Chicken from your Hotkey Bar
  7. Point your mouse cursor at the nearest Wolf and click it to feed the Cooked Chicken
  8. Repeat until you get your first Wolf Mount

Riding Your Mount

  1. Tap Q on your keyboard to ride your mount
  2. OR open your Inventory → go to the Mount Tab → double-click the mount you want to ride

Upgrading Your Mount

Upgrading your mount is the only way to increase your mount speed up to 55%.

Costs: 10 GOLD per upgrade

  1. Meet Sorrel the Stablemaster at Mainland fountain
  2. Click Sorrel
  3. Drag or Double tap/click the mount from your inventory
  4. Click upgrade

Getting Your First GOLD

Gold can be earned by fighting Mobs and Bosses. All gold drops are server-authoritative and rolled with a secure RNG, synced straight to your inventory.

Scrolls

Scrolls are special contracts that reward GOLD after completing delivery tasks.

Beginner Scrolls

Beginner Scrolls drop exclusively from Wild Dragon, Wild Zombie, and Wolves in the Wilderness.

Marketplace

Marketplace is Kintara's trading hub where players can buy or sell resources, items, tools, mounts, or cosmetics.

How to Sell

  1. Tap the Cart Icon
  2. Go to the Sell Tab
  3. Select the items, tools, equipment, mounts, or cosmetics you want to sell (you can only select items inside your inventory, not your bank)
  4. Set the Quantity (number of items, equipment, mounts, or cosmetics you want to sell)
  5. Set the Currency: GOLD or $KINS
  6. Set the Amount: the total amount in GOLD or USD (for $KINS) you want to sell it for
  7. Click List Now
  8. Check the confirmation and click List Now after double-checking it
  9. Wait for someone to buy it

How to Buy

  1. Tap the Cart Icon
  2. Go to the Buy Tab
  3. Search for the items, tools, equipment, mounts, or cosmetics you want to buy
  4. Set the currency to GOLD or $KINS
  5. Set the sorting to Cheapest to find the lowest price
  6. Click the item in the list
  7. Double-check the details
  8. Click Buy Now
  9. Confirm the wallet transaction
  10. The item will be sent to your inventory upon a successful transaction
Note: GOLD currency has a minimum of 1 GOLD per sale.
Tip: Use $KINS currency for wider buy and sell options.

Trade

Trade is Kintara's Player-To-Player trading system where players can trade resources, items, tools, mounts, pets, furniture, or cosmetics.

How to Trade

  1. Tap the Player character
  2. Click Trade under their profile description to send the Trade Request
  3. Once Trade Request is accepted a new window will appear where you can place your trades
  4. Left Panel: This is where you place the resources you're planning to trade with | Right Panel: This where you will able to see what's the other party/player placed for trading
  5. Below the panels select whether you're trading Items, Cosmetics, Mounts, Pets, or Furniture
  6. Click the Accept Trade button once you're done placing the items
  7. Wait for the other party/player to click the Accept Trade
  8. Double check the items or resources if it's correct and if it is click "Confirm Trade"
  9. Check your inventory

Mobs and Bosses

Mobs and Bosses are the main entities in the game that you can fight to get Combat EXP and rare drops.

You must learn how to fight them to avoid dying in the Wilderness, which will cost you the items and equipment in your inventory upon death.

Tips:

  1. Use higher tier Swords when fighting Mobs and Bosses
  2. Learn mob and boss attack patterns to avoid their attacks and reduce damage taken
  3. Don't go to the Wilderness or hostile areas without Potions, and without knowing how to combat Mobs, Bosses, or worse, Players
  4. If you died, go back to the exact location where you got killed to retrieve your inventory items.
Note: Other players can retrieve your dropped inventory items. Retrieve it as fast as you can.

Unlock Higher Tier Tools and Equipments

To unlock Higher Tier Tools and Equipment, you must either reach the required Smithing Level or buy them from the Marketplace.

  1. Gather all the required ingots (smelted from ore) and Wood
  2. Go to Grimjaw in Frostmere or Harun in Dunes West
  3. Talk to the NPC
  4. Select the Tool or Equipment you want to craft
  5. Start crafting
  6. Wait 30 seconds; the crafted tool will be sent to your inventory

Character Level and Skills Level

Character Level is tied to a character's overall Skill Levels.

Each Skill can be leveled up to 30.

  4. Prizes you've won will be sent to your inventory
