Molten Rock is a material gathered from the lava pits in Emberstone using a Fishing Rod. It is the Emberstone equivalent of Fish caught at The Pond and The Shores — every cast at a lava pit yields one Molten Rock. Its main use is buying Demon Chests at the Chest Vending Machine, which each require 100 Molten Rock.

Gathering

Equip a Fishing Rod and cast into any lava pit in Emberstone. Emberstone requires Total Level 25 to enter.

Tips

• Emberstone requires Total Level 25 to enter — train all five core skills first.
• Molten Rock counts toward Fishing XP the same way as regular Fish — so farming it for Demon Chests also levels Fishing at the same time.
• You need 100 Molten Rock per Demon Chest — that's 100 lava casts, which doubles as roughly 12,500 Fishing XP per chest's worth.
