Unlike the Wilderness, Frostmere does not contain stone or coal nodes. Its mining route is focused on metal ore.

Mining

Smithing
Smithing is done at the Blacksmith Forge by Grimjaw (also available at Harun in Dunes West). Forging takes approximately 30 seconds, with roughly a 60-second cooldown between smiths. No base tool is consumed — every tier is craftable from scratch.

Tips
- Bring Wood and Coal from the Wilderness before making tool upgrades — Frostmere doesn't have those nodes.
- Mine Metal here safely with no PvP risk, then use the forge to upgrade tools in the same trip.
- Smithing gives 750 XP per forge — one of the highest XP rates per action in the game, though it does not count toward Total Level.
- Upgrade Axe and Pickaxe first — doubled gathering yield means every future resource trip is twice as efficient.
