Metal is one of the main gathered resources in Kintara. It is obtained by mining ore nodes in the Wilderness with a Pickaxe, sharing the same nodes and mining mechanics as Stone and Coal. Metal is primarily used in Smithing upgrade recipes at Frostmere for Lvl 2 tools and weapons.

Note: Unlike Wood, Stone, Coal, and Cooked Fish Meat, Metal is not currently part of the Traveling Merchant's Gold exchange bundle. This may change in future updates.
