How to get

Silver Ore is a high-tier gathered resource in Kintara. It is obtained by mining ore nodes in Frostmere and The Dunes (West) with a Pickaxe (requires Mining 20). Silver Ore is smelted into Silver Ingots at any furnace, then forged into the best tools and armor in the game.

Silver Ore is the pinnacle of the crafting system — the fastest-hitting tools and most protective armor all begin here.

Silver Ore nodes are found in Frostmere and The Dunes (West). Gathering requires Mining level 20 or higher. See the for full gathering time formulas.

Smelting

Silver Ore is smelted into Silver Ingots at any furnace (Frostmere or Dunes West). No Smithing level required.

Silver Ore is the high-tier in Kintara's ore system:

Silver is the best gear available. Tools hit hardest, armor blocks most, and the speed bonus is the highest.

Progression Gate

To gather Silver Ore, you must reach Mining level 20:

Silver Ore represents the true end-game grind. A full set of Silver tools and armor is the peak of power.

The Dunes Advantage

The Dunes (West) now has Silver Ore nodes alongside Frostmere. Benefits:

• Dual locations — gather in either zone based on preference
• Heat consideration — Dunes requires heat management (Desert Robe or Health Potion+)
• PvP risk — Dunes is full PvP; Frostmere is safer
• Respawn rates — both zones have comparable spawn rates
