Shore Crab Mount (shown in-game simply as Shore Crab) is a rare mount tied to ocean fishing at The Shores, with a 1 in 20,000 chance per fishing cast — a shore crab broken to the saddle that scuttles along on six legs, waving its one outsized claw at everything it passes. It starts at the standard 25% base speed and can be trained up to 55% via Sorrel the Stablemaster.

How to get

Method	Requirement	Result
Fish at The Shores	Access to The Shores (a paid area — requires holding 1,000 $KINS), a Level 2 Fishing Rod and at least Fishing 13	1 in 20,000 chance per cast (before any rare-find from a rod relic) to obtain the Shore Crab instead of that cast's fish. It also rolls on casts into The Deep.
Marketplace	Player listing	Can be bought if listed by another player

The Shore Crab needs room in your mount bag; with no room, the cast pays its fish instead (the bait is spent either way). The Shore Crab isn't sold in any shop.

Free-play accounts can't enter The Shores and never receive mount drops.

Gilding: Sorrel can gild the Shore Crab into a Gold Shore Crab — slot 1, 2 or 3 Shore Crabs for a 20%, 40% or 60% chance. The Shore Crabs you slot are used up whether or not the gilding works. See Gilded Mounts.
