Feather Bait is the entry-level Fishing bait, required to catch Herring at The Pond. It's the bottom rung of the bait ladder — made from a single Feather rather than traded up from a previous fish tier.
How to get
Note: Bait is deliberately cheap to buy outright — the pace of progression comes from the level gates and trade-up exchanges, not the gold price of a hook. Bait is only consumed on a successful catch; a cast with no bite, or a cancelled cast, costs nothing.
