Pirate Tricorn is a cosmetic appearance item for the hat slot — a black three-cornered hat edged in gold braid, with a small skull and crossbones on the brim. It changes how your character looks and does not grant combat or skilling bonuses. It is not the same item as the Pirate Hat, a Hard Scroll reward.
How To Get
- Open a Waterlogged Crate — every open has a 1 in 40 chance of the Pirate Tricorn (the crate's top-tier pull). Pulling it shows the rare-find reveal with a card you can share
- Buy from other players on the Marketplace
Waterlogged Crates are fished up in The Deep (1 in 600 per cast) or dug out of a Sunken Treasure Map cache (1 in 5 digs), and they're free to open. The tricorn came into the crate on 27 October 2026, with the Sunken Diver's Helmet, replacing the retired Captain's Hat. The Pirate Tricorn isn't sold in any shop.
