How to get Fishing in the trench at The Sunken Isles (1 in 30,000 per cast) or Marketplace

Kraken Mount (called Kraken in game) is a rare sea mount from the trench at The Sunken Isles — a many-armed kraken out of the deepest water there is. Since its 20 October 2026 redesign it has eight tentacles that wave as it moves, glowing spots down its sides, slit-pupil eyes and a saddle with a hanging ship's lantern. Every fishing cast into the trench has a 1 in 30,000 chance of the Kraken. It starts at the standard 25% base speed and can be trained up to 55% via Sorrel the Stablemaster.

How to get

Method Requirement Result
Fish the trench at The Sunken Isles Wooden Raft, Level 2 Fishing Rod, Glow Jig, Fishing 40 1 in 30,000 chance per cast (before any rare-find from a rod relic) — a winning roll lands the Kraken instead of that cast's Fangtooth, and the bait is still spent
Marketplace Player listing Can be bought if listed by another player

The Kraken is only rolled on casts into the trench itself; the reef and the wreck have rare catches of their own (see The Sunken Isles). If your mount bag has no free slot and no Kraken in it already, a winning roll pays the Fangtooth instead. The trench is shark water, so keep moving while you fish (see Sharks). The Kraken isn't sold in any shop.

Requirement: Requires holding 1,000 $KINS — free accounts can't enter The Sunken Isles and never receive mount drops.
