For the current season, see Season 2.

Season 1 was Kintara's first game-wide season, and it ended on 1 October 2026. It brought a free Season Pass — a reward track every player could climb by earning XP while the season ran — plus season-exclusive cosmetics in the Season 1 championship colours (deep violet and gold, laurel mark throughout), a personal finisher's trophy, and the first competitive round of Guild Seasons.

Ended: The Season Pass closed at 00:00 UTC on 1 October 2026. Unclaimed stops are gone for good, and the pass-only rewards — the Season 1 Hat, the Season 1 T-shirt, the Season 1 Laurel Trophy and the Season 1 badge — can no longer be earned (the Hat and T-shirt already out there can still be traded).

The Season Pass

The pass sat in the Season Pass tab of the Rewards window (the gift button on the HUD). It was free and open to every player — there was nothing to buy. The tab still shows the track, marked Season over, and nothing on it can be claimed.

  • Progress was XP earned during the season. Your bar started at zero the first time you opened the Rewards window while the season was running, and every point of skill XP you earned from then on moved it. Kintara Club members who were already climbing the Club track kept that same starting point on both tracks.
  • All six skills counted. XP earned past a skill's level cap still counted toward the pass, so a maxed skill kept pulling its weight. Smithing XP counted at one fifth of face value, so a forge binge wasn't a shortcut.
  • The track was a ladder of reward stops: reach a stop's XP and claim it for its items.

Free players

Accounts playing for free could earn and claim the pass up to the third reward stop (25,000 XP). Past that, the bar froze until the account held the 1,000 $KINS minimum — then it moved again from where it froze. Progress already claimed was never rolled back. If an account holding 1,000 $KINS dipped below it — even for a few minutes — its bar paused where it stood instead of rolling back, unclaimed progress included: XP earned while below the minimum didn't count, and stops past the free limit waited until the account held 1,000 $KINS again, when the bar carried on from where it paused. (Free accounts also stop earning XP at Total Level 10 until they hold 1,000 $KINS, so the bar stopped there too.)

Season 1 cosmetics

Item How it's earned
Season 1 Hat Only ever earned from the Season 1 pass
Season 1 T-shirt Only ever earned from the Season 1 pass
Season 1 Gold Hat The Kintara Club reward track, until it moved on to Season 2 on 20 October 2026 (or the Season 1 Chest)
Season 1 Gold T-shirt The Kintara Club reward track, until it moved on to Season 2 on 20 October 2026 (or the Season 1 Chest)
Season 1 Aura The top of the Kintara Club reward track, until it moved on to Season 2 on 20 October 2026 (or the Season 1 Chest)

The base pieces wear championship violet with the gold laurel; the Gold colourway inverts the palette — gold fabric with violet marks. The Season 1 Aura was redesigned on 27 October 2026: a deep royal purple glow with gold ribbons winding up around you, gold sparkles, and a rank ring at your feet. Copies you already own show the new look. The full set is tracked as the Season 1 Set in your Collection Log.

Season 1 Chest

A special chest tied to Season 1's reward tracks. Unlike kiosk chests it never rolls the common tools-and-materials tier and never pays out Gold — it rolls the Gold colourway only: 45% Season 1 Gold Hat, 45% Season 1 Gold T-shirt, 10% Season 1 Aura. It is never sold at the chest kiosk, and it was not one of the pass rewards when the pass ended.

Season 1 Laurel Trophy

Finishing the Season Pass finale granted the Season 1 Laurel Trophy — a personal furniture trophy you can place in your room or property — along with the Season 1 profile badge. It is soulbound: it can never be traded, listed or sold. It sits a little lower than the guild champions' cups on purpose — a finisher's honour, not a guild one.

Guild side of the season

Season 1 was also the first scored round of Guild Seasons: guilds competed on a season board, and when the season ended the top three took home the Season 1 Champion's, Runners-up and Third Place trophies. Reign of Terror won, ahead of Kings Of Kintara and OMEN; see the Season 1 results for every prize, and Guild Seasons for the scoring rules.
