Feather is a resource dropped by the chickens in Whisperwood, used to craft Feather Bait for Fishing. It drops alongside the raw chicken meat on every kill — not as a separate rare roll.
Update: Chickens previously dropped a finished Feather Bait directly. They now drop a raw Feather instead, which the Old Fisher or Dockhand Maren ties into Feather Bait at a 1:1 rate. The old system read as a bird carrying its own tackle box — this fixes that.
