Fishing Rod is the tool required to train the Fishing skill. It is used to catch Fish at The Pond, The Shores, and Emberstone.
How to get
The Fishing Rod is given by the Old Fisher NPC located at The Pond. If you die and lose your Fishing Rod, return to the Old Fisher to equip a new one for free.
Usage
Equip the Fishing Rod and cast into the water to begin fishing. Each catch gives:
- 125 Fishing XP
- A raw Fish, which can be cooked into Cooked Fish Meat
Fishing can occasionally roll a rare mount or cosmetic drop depending on the location.
