King Scorpia

Template:Infobox boss King Scorpia is a world boss located in the western Dunes West. He is the strongest combat encounter in Kintara and the only source of the rare King Scorpia Mount and Hard Scrolls.

Loot is distributed to the top 3 damage dealers who are still alive when he falls. Squad-based but individualized rolls — no competing with your own team.

Location & Access

King Scorpia roams The Dunes (West realm). No level gate, but you must reach The Dunes to fight him.

The Throw

One in every five of King Scorpia's attacks (his own bite or his riposte) triggers **The Throw**:

• Picks you up and hurls you 6 tiles away
• Bounces off walls, scenery, realm edges, and safe camp fences
• Can separate you from the group or push you into danger
• Deals no damage itself — just repositioning

Loot Distribution

Loot rolls are given to the top 3 damage dealers **who are still alive** when King Scorpia falls.

• **Ranking:** By total damage dealt (not last hit)
• **Alive requirement:** You must have HP > 0 when he dies to be eligible
• **Independent rolls:** Every player rolls separately — no competition within your squad
• **Loot cannot be bought with corpses:** You cannot buy a loot slot by dying

The rare King Scorpia Mount drops only from King Scorpia himself (not from ordinary Scorpions).

Scorpion Camouflage

While riding King Scorpia Mount, all ordinary Giant Scorpions in The Dunes ignore you completely.

• Attack a Scorpion and camouflage breaks
• They hunt you for 30 seconds after the first attack
• Every further attack refreshes the 30-second timer
• Stop attacking and wait it out, you become invisible again
• Useful for farming or repositioning in the Dunes

Strategy Tips

• **Squad up:** 1,500 HP is massive — bring a team
• **Heat management:** Bring Desert Robe or Health Potion+ to manage heat damage
• **Positioning:** The Throw can separate you — stay coordinated
• **Stun strategy:** He shrugs off hit-stun faster than ordinary Scorpions — expect longer fights
• **Damage priority:** Focus damage on keeping yourself in top 3 (he only pays the top 3 alive)
• **Shield & armor:** Iron or Silver armor can help absorb his 25 damage bites
• **Sword tier:** Silver Sword hits for 30 base + 10 from Strength Potion = 40 damage per swing

Respawn & Scheduling

King Scorpia respawns 30 minutes after death. Check with your guild or community for spawn timers.
