Rainbow Dragon is a cosmetic companion pet in Kintara. It follows your character around the world and does not grant any combat or skilling bonuses.
How to get
Rainbow Dragon is one of the pets the Whisperwood Pet Shop can feature. The shop sells one featured pet at a time, picked by an admin, for Gold at a price set with each pick. Each pick stays on sale for 7 days; after that the shop shows it as unavailable until the next pick, so the Rainbow Dragon is only on sale while it is the featured pet. At other times it can be bought from other players on the Marketplace or through direct trading.
It was briefly the Spinner Wheel's rare prize (1 in 100 per spin) in June 2026; that wedge has since been replaced and the wheel no longer awards it.
As of the latest world item index snapshot, there are 53 known copies of this pet in-game.
