Admin requests — how to request administrator (sysop) access on the Kintara Wiki.

Administrator rights are not granted automatically. A bureaucrat reviews each request and, if approved, adds you to the sysop group at Special:UserRights. Requests may be declined.

How to request access

  1. Create an account at Special:CreateAccount (if you do not already have one)
  2. Ask on Discord, or leave a note on Talk:Main Page or this page's talk
  3. Include:
    • Your wiki username
    • A brief note on why you need admin

A bureaucrat will review the request. Approval is not guaranteed.

What administrators can do

  • Protect, delete, and restore pages
  • Block and unblock users
  • Perform other sysop tasks that writers cannot
