Fishing is the skill for catching Fish at The Pond and The Shores. It gives strong XP per action and feeds directly into Cooking, since raw fish is cooked into Cooked Fish Meat.

Training

Equip a Fishing Rod and cast into the water. Each catch gives 125 Fishing XP and a raw Fish. The Pond is open to everyone; The Shores needs an average skill level of 20 and can roll a rare shark mount.

Why fish

• Raw fish cooks into Cooked Fish Meat, a Traveling Merchant gold ingredient.
• Fishing can occasionally roll a mount.
• Train it next to Cooking at the roast pits to level both at once.
