The Blacksmith Forge is the upgrade station located in Frostmere, operated by the NPC Grimjaw. Players visit the Blacksmith Forge to upgrade their starter tools and weapons to Lvl 2 versions, doubling both yield and XP per action for the relevant skill.
Frostmere requires a minimum Total Level of 20 to enter, so the Blacksmith Forge is only accessible to players who have progressed their five core skills to an average of level 20.

Each upgrade also rewards Smithing XP. Smithing is a bonus skill and does not count toward Total Level.
How to use
- Travel to Frostmere (requires Total Level 20).
- Talk to Grimjaw at the Blacksmith Forge.
- Have the required materials in your inventory or bank.
- Select the upgrade you want and confirm.
