Level 2 Fishing Rod is the second of Kintara's three fishing rods, sold by Dockhand Maren at The Shores for 10 Gold. It's a hard requirement to fish The Shores at all — the free Starter Fishing Rod cannot fish there.

Where it works

An upgraded rod keeps working in the water it replaces — the Level 2 Fishing Rod still fishes The Pond and Whisperwood as well as The Shores. It is also the rod for Swordfish in The Deep, the raft-only water at The Shores (you'll need a Wooden Raft to fish there). It covers everything except Emberstone lava, which needs the Fire-Resistant Fishing Rod instead.
