Health Potion+ is a Dunes-exclusive healing potion crafted by Nadeen the Sandcook. It is one of only two healing methods that work in The Dunes — regular Health Potions, cooked chicken, and cooked fish are all useless there.

The Dunes Healing System

In The Dunes, regular healing items do NOT work:

• **Health Potions** — Do nothing
• **Cooked Chicken** — Do nothing
• **Cooked Fish Meat** — Do nothing

Only these two methods heal:

1. **Health Potion+** — 50 HP per use 2. **Cacti** — 20 HP each when eaten (gathering them requires Iron Axe or better + Woodcutting 20)

Shield, Strength, and Poison Potions still work in the Dunes — a shield still absorbs mob and PvP damage there. It is only the heat tick that goes straight through shields, so armor and shields do not protect you from heat. You must actively heal or wear Desert Robe top + bottom for complete immunity. Heat damage is 1 HP every 10 seconds.

Usage Tips

• Stock up before entering: Gather materials on Mainland/Emberstone, then craft a stack of Health Potion+ before heading to the Dunes
• Heat management: At 1 HP per 10 seconds, each Health Potion+ buys you 500 seconds (8+ minutes) of heat exposure
• Combat healing: Use Health Potion+ between fights or when taking damage from mobs
• Stack for long trips: A stack of 100 potions gives you 5,000 HP of healing — enough for ~3 hours in the Dunes
• Desert Robe alternative: If you can craft Desert Robe, that's passive immunity (no potion cost)
