Guilds are community-driven player clans in Kintara that allow players to team up, coordinate efforts, and manage shared goals. Being a member of a guild provides active gameplay benefits, while requiring collective resource contributions to remain active.

Guild Perks: Members receive a passive +5% XP bonus on everything while actively remaining part of a functioning guild.

Founding a Guild

Cost Notes
100 Gold Reduced from 250 Gold in a recent balance pass.

Features & Management

  • Member Scaling: Guilds can be upgraded to grow their roster size, expanding from a starting capacity of 5 members up to a maximum of 20 members.
  • Custom Tags: Guild leaders can set a unique, stylized guild tag (e.g., `[YN]`) to identify members in the Wilderness.
  • Ranks & Management: Leaders can promote members to **Managers** to assist with recruiting, moderation, and operational duties.

Guild Life (Upkeep)

To keep a guild active and maintain its passive bonuses, members must collectively contribute resources to fund its remaining **Guild Life** duration. If the Guild Life timer reaches zero, features or benefits may be temporarily suspended.

Burn Rate

The rate at which Guild Life drains scales dynamically with the size of the roster:

  • Mechanic: Bigger guilds drain faster.
  • For example, a guild with 11 members carries a **x2.2 burn rate multiplier**.

Resource Contributions

Any member can contribute resources directly from their inventory or bank account. The base resource exchange rate required to fund **1 day of guild life** is:

Material Required Amount Source / Skill
Wood 1,000 Gathered via Woodcutting
Stone 750 Gathered via Mining
Coal 500 Mined from coal nodes
Cooked Fish Meat 500 Created via Cooking

Players can utilize quick-deposit buttons to add **+1 Day**, **+5 Days**, or **+10 Days** worth of upkeep at a time, provided the guild bank or personal inventory has the total materials required.

User Interface

The Guild system menu is divided into four main functional panels:

  1. Guild Life: Monitors remaining upkeep time, member burn rates, and material contribution inputs.
  2. Guild Panel: Handles roster changes, rank promotions, and custom settings.
  3. Search: Allows players to look up open or recruiting clans.
  4. Leaderboard: Visualizes the top ranking guilds across the world.
