How to get The Angler's raffle at The Shores · Marketplace

The Angler Outfit is a three-piece cosmetic set — Angler Hat, Angler Vest and Angler Waders — earned through The Angler's raffle at The Shores. It sits at the end of the Fishing ladder: bought with cooked fish and luck rather than gold, and the longest grind in the game by design. Wearing the complete set makes your fishing bites 30% faster.

The raffle

The Angler stands at the seaward end of the dock at The Shores and trades bulk cooked fish for raffle tickets:

Step Details
Exchange Hand over 150 cooked fish of each of the five species — Cooked Herring, Trout, Bass, Tuna and Swordfish, 750 fish in all — for 10 Angler Raffle Tickets.
Cooked only The exchange refuses raw fish; every fish must be cooked first.
Carried only The 750 fish must be in your inventory or hotbar — banked fish don't count.
Rolling tickets Each ticket wins at 1 in 1,000. Tickets can be rolled one at a time, ten at a time, or a hundred at a time.
The prize A winning ticket pays one of the three pieces at random.
Wardrobe space Make room in your wardrobe before drawing — the Angler refuses a draw while a winning piece would have nowhere to land.

There is no duplicate protection, on purpose: a hit picks any of the three pieces whether or not you already own it. All three pieces (and the tickets themselves) are tradeable, so spares can be sold and missing pieces bought on the Marketplace.

One ticket costs 75 cooked fish, so a winning piece lands on average once per 75,000 cooked fish.

Wearing it

  • Wearing any Angler piece requires Fishing level 30.
  • Wear all three pieces at once and every fishing bite arrives 30% sooner, on every fishing ground in the game — the Pond, Whisperwood, the Shores (The Deep included), and even Emberstone lava fishing.
  • The bonus is checked server-side: you must own and wear the complete set. One or two pieces grant nothing.
