Constable's Cap is a limited cosmetic for the hat slot. It changes how your character looks and does not grant combat or skilling bonuses.

"Watch navy with a brass star badge, given by the Constable to the first hundred who closed the merchant's case. There will never be more of them."

How To Get

• Finish the last step of the story quest The Merchant's Debt — The Constable hands a cap to the first 100 eligible players to close the case.
• Buy one from another player on the Marketplace.

The quest card shows how many caps are still left while you work through the chapter. Once all 100 are gone, they are gone for good — the cap is never sold in a shop and never comes back.

Eligibility

• Free-play accounts and trade-locked accounts can still finish the chapter, but don't take one of the 100 caps.
• If your account wasn't eligible when you finished, you can still claim a cap later from the quest card — as long as caps remain.
• Each account can only ever get one cap from the story.
• The cap goes to your cosmetic bag. If the bag is full, the final step can't be completed until you make room — and a spot isn't held for you in the meantime, so clear space before you name the killer.
