Navigator
The Navigator is Kintara's room directory and rental system. Open it from the compass button on the HUD (or the Navigator tile in the mobile menu) to browse every player room in the game — live, across every server — rent and furnish rooms of your own, and find player properties with the lights on.
The window
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Rooms | Browse every room — search by category, sort by who's busiest, hop in. |
| Events | Player-hosted events running in rooms right now. |
| Property | Owned properties (Mansions, Houses, Trailers, Flats); an owner who's home shows with a light on. |
| Mine | Your own rooms — rent, settings, and Room Life. |
| Create | Rent a new room. |
Renting a room
Pick a size, one of three layouts (Open Hall, Lounge, Colonnade), a floor and a backdrop, then name the room (3–24 characters) and file it under one category: Games & Mazes, Hangouts, Role Playing, Guilds, Trading, Parties & Events, or Other. A room is either open to everyone or locked behind a password (6–32 characters).
Room Life
Rent is paid as Room Life — time the room stays open — priced per week by size:
| Size | Interior | Capacity | Room Life / week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 8×10 tiles | 10 players | 10 Gold |
| Medium | 14×16 tiles | 25 players | 25 Gold |
| Large | 24×26 tiles | 50 players | 50 Gold |
- Kintara Club members pay 20% less Gold on rent — at creation and on every top-up.
- Owning any physical property earns +25% Room Life for the same payment.
- You can hold up to 3 rooms at once, and fund a room as far ahead as you like.
- A room whose Room Life runs out isn't wiped on the spot: it keeps its furniture and settings for a 48-hour grace window, so a missed top-up costs you nothing but the downtime.
Floors and backdrops
Floors and backdrops are account-wide unlocks — buy one once and use it in every room you rent. Floors run 50–100 Gold (Dark Oak through Molten Obsidian). Static backdrops run 50–80 Gold; the animated premium tier runs 300–500 Gold — Golden Sunset (300), Starry Night (400), Aurora Veil (450) and Cosmic Nebula (500).
Furnishing and running a room
Inside your room, the Catalogue buys Furniture to place — a Navigator room holds up to 1,000 placed pieces (owned properties cap at 80).
- Trusted players can be granted rights to place, move and pick up furniture, and to kick guests. Rent, settings, backdrops and the rights list itself always stay owner-only.
- A trading toggle controls whether guests can start trades in your room; the owner can always open a trade either way.
- /kickall clears the room and /pickall sweeps up placed furniture — both owner-only, and you must be standing in the room.
- The Events tab lets owners run named events so the room draws a crowd.
