Pickaxe

Sword is the starting melee weapon used for Combat. New characters receive a Sword directly from the Quartermaster on the Mainland as part of the new player tutorial.

Use

• Equip the Sword in a hotbar slot (keys 1–6).
• Used for fighting mobs and other players in PvP zones such as the Wilderness.

Acquisition

• Given by the Quartermaster on the Mainland during the new player tutorial.
• Can be upgraded to a Lvl 2 Sword through Smithing at Frostmere, which doubles Combat damage and XP.
