Furni Shop catalogue and featured furniture interface

Furni Shop is Kintara's furniture shop. Players visit Bartholomew to buy furniture and housing decorations for their player-owned properties.

The shop sells furniture using Gold from the player's backpack. Its stock is divided into a regular catalogue and a featured limited-rare slot.

Services

Service Currency Details
Furniture catalogue Gold Regular furniture stock organised by type and style.
Featured limited rare Gold Featured furniture offered through the rotating limited-rare slot.
Furniture storage None Purchased pieces are stored in the player's Furni bag.
Property furnishing None Furniture can be placed inside player-owned properties.
Marketplace trading Gold or other supported Marketplace currency Furniture can be listed under the Marketplace's Furni category.

How it works

  1. Own a player property such as a house, mansion, or trailer.
  2. Speak with Bartholomew in the furniture showroom.
  3. Open the Furni Shop and choose an item from the featured rare slot or catalogue.
  4. Pay with Gold from your backpack.
  5. Open the Furni bag to manage purchased furniture.
  6. Place, move, and rotate furniture inside your property.

Furniture placement is server-authoritative, so the layout shown to one player is also visible to other players.

Furniture is primarily used to decorate properties, although individual pieces may also provide seating, block walking, open and close, or offer another interaction.

Stock rotation

Bartholomew explains that the furniture collection rotates each week. An item available during one collection may not remain in the shop after the next rotation.

Limited-rare furniture is shown separately from the regular catalogue and may be unavailable after its featured period ends. Items that are no longer in the shop may still be obtainable through the Marketplace or player-to-player trading when listed by another player.

Bartholomew

The Furni Shop is operated by Bartholomew, the furniture showroom proprietor. His introductory dialogue is:

Welcome, welcome! Step right in — mind the freshly-oiled floors. I'm Bartholomew, and every cushion, plank, and peg in this showroom was chosen with these very hands. The collection rotates each week, so what catches your eye today may be gone tomorrow!

His dialogue offers the following choices:

  • Show me what's for sale.
  • Mind if I rest my legs?
  • Just browsing, thanks.
