Vampire Cloak is a cosmetic appearance item for the cape slot — black outside, red within, with a collar high enough to hide a smile. It is one of the Halloween 2026 cosmetics. Since 26 October 2026 it has its own cape slot, so it can be worn together with any back item: Bat Wings, Angel Wings, Demon Wings, the Soul Scythe, the Witch's Broom or the Champion's Banner. It replaces a classic cape or another cape such as the Stinger Cape, since they hang in the same place. Since 27 October 2026 it swings back from your shoulders as you walk, run or ride, and settles when you stop. It changes how your character looks and does not grant combat or skilling bonuses.
How To Get
The Vampire Cloak was one of the three Gold-tier prizes of the Haunted Chest from 20 October 2026 until 00:00 UTC on 26 October 2026. Each open had a 2% chance to land on the Gold tier, which then picked the Vampire Cloak 60% of the time, so every open had a 1.2% chance to award the cloak. Then the Headless Horseman and the Ghostly Aura took over the Gold tier, and the Vampire Cloak left the chest for good — a Haunted Chest opened since then can't give it, even one bought earlier. The Vampire Cloak isn't sold in any shop.
