Pnut is an ultra-rare squirrel companion pet that drops while Woodcutting. With a 1-in-150,000 chance per tree felled, Pnut is one of the rarest pet drops in Kintara. The roll is server-side and cannot be exploited — just keep chopping and eventually you might find him!
How to get
Pnut can drop when felling any tree, in any region of the world:
- Fell any tree — every realm's trees count, and so do Cacti
- Each tree you fell has a 1 in 150,000 chance to drop Pnut
- A tool relic with rare find on your axe improves the odds slightly — the best, Deep Fortune (+7%), makes it about 1 in 140,187
- The roll is server-authoritative — no tricks or exploits
- Pnut drops directly into your pet bag when you receive him — if your pet bag is full, the drop is lost
- Free-play accounts (holding under 1,000 $KINS) never receive the drop
- Pnut can also be bought from other players on the Marketplace or through direct trading
Behavior
Pnut is a small, fluffy squirrel companion who:
- Follows the player everywhere in the world
- Displays as a pet in your pet list and inventory
- Counts toward your active companion pets
- Is tracked under Rare Pets in the Collection Log
- A reward for dedicated woodcutting farmers
Tips
- Pnut is ultra-rare — on average it takes 150,000 felled trees to find him, and even after 150,000 trees there is only about a 63% chance you will have seen him.
- Woodcutting is the normal way to obtain Pnut — though, like other pets, he can be picked as the Whisperwood Pet Shop's featured pet.
- Keep a free slot in your pet bag while you chop.
- Keep chopping! Every tree is a fresh, independent roll.
