| How to get | Bought inside any owned property |
The Money Printer is a property machine that earns its owner passive Gold by taking a share of the Casino's profit. Every property owner can buy and place one inside their property, switch it on, and collect the accumulated Gold whenever they like — including while offline.
The bigger your property tier, the larger your share of the payout pool.
How it works
- Own a property (any Housing tier).
- While standing inside your property, a pop-up option appears to buy and activate a Money Printer for 1,000 Gold.
- Activation is one-time — once switched on, it runs permanently with no fuel cost or upkeep.
- The printer earns a live share of a rolling 7-day window of Casino profit and accumulates Gold passively, including while you are offline.
- Claim your Gold at will. You claim whole Gold; fractional earnings stay in the printer and keep adding up.
The payout pool
Money Printer income comes from a shared pool, not a fixed rate:
- 50% of Casino profit, measured on a rolling 7-day basis, feeds the printer pool.
- That 50% is split among every active printer in the game, weighted by property tier.
- Only active (switched-on) printers earn a share.
- Settlement runs hourly — payouts land at most once an hour, not continuously.
- Because the pool is shared, your actual earnings depend on how many printers are active and their tiers — more active printers means a thinner slice each.
- The rolling 7-day window smooths payouts: a single big or quiet night at the tables no longer swings your printer income the way it used to. Expect smaller, steadier payouts arriving most hours.
Tier weights
Your share of the pool scales with your property's key tier:
| Key tier | Properties | Revenue weight |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze Key | Trailer, Flat | ×1 (1 share) |
| Silver Key | House, Apartment | ×2 (2 shares) |
| Gold Key | Mansion, Penthouse | ×4 (4 shares) |
A Gold-key property earns four times the share of a Bronze-key property, and Silver earns twice Bronze, from the same shared pool.
Earnings notifications
The printer sends its owner an in-game message from a "Money Printer" system sender each time its accumulated earnings cross another 5-Gold step — a passive reminder that there is Gold waiting to be claimed.
Selling a property with a printer
The Money Printer is bound to the property it is placed in. If you sell the property:
- The new owner inherits the printer and any unclaimed Gold still inside it.
- Always claim your earnings before selling — unclaimed Gold transfers with the property.
Key details
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Cost | 1,000 Gold |
| Where to buy | Pop-up option while inside an owned property |
| Limit | One Money Printer per property |
| Activation | One-time; no fuel or upkeep |
| Income source | 50% of Casino profit, rolling 7-day window, shared pool |
| Payout timing | Settled hourly — at most one payout per hour |
| Payout weighting | Bronze ×1 · Silver ×2 · Gold ×4 |
| Collection | Accumulates passively; claim whole Gold at will (fractions carry over) |
| Bound to property | Yes — transfers with the property, including unclaimed Gold |
Tips
- The printer pays for itself over time — a one-time 1,000 Gold cost with no upkeep means it is pure profit once it earns back its price.
- Higher tiers earn far more: a Mansion or Penthouse (Gold, ×4) prints four times faster than a Trailer or Flat (Bronze, ×1).
- Keep your printer switched on — only active printers earn a share of the pool.
- Claim before selling. Unclaimed Gold transfers to the buyer along with the property.
- Earnings now track the Casino's genuine performance over a full week rather than any single session — don't expect a single huge night to spike your payout the way it once did, and don't worry that one quiet night will zero you out either.
