The Angler is an NPC at The Shores who runs the raffle for the Angler Outfit — the game's Fishing chase set. He trades bulk cooked fish for raffle tickets; what the tickets pay out is entirely random. (His spoken line still says "all four kinds", but the exchange now takes all five species — Swordfish included.)

The Deal

Hand over 750 cooked fish — 150 each of all five species — for 10 Angler Raffle Tickets. Cooked fish only; raw fish are refused.

Fish required Amount
Cooked Herring 150
Cooked Trout 150
Cooked Bass 150
Cooked Tuna 150
Cooked Swordfish 150
Total 750 cooked fish → 10 tickets

Drawing Tickets

Detail Value
Odds per ticket 1 in 1,000 for one random piece
Duplicate protection None — duplicates are possible
Tradeable Every piece, including duplicates, is tradeable
Wear requirement Fishing level 30
Set bonus 30% faster fishing everywhere, including Emberstone lava, when all three pieces are worn together

Draws can be taken ×1, ×10, or ×100 at a time. A single ticket works out to 75 cooked fish invested, so a hit lands roughly once every 75,000 cooked fish. The odds were deliberately widened from the old 1-in-2,500 (roughly a quarter-million fish per hit), which had kept the whole outfit in single figures across the game.
