Frostmere is a snowy calm zone south of Whisperwood. It is the main place for mining Metal and forging Lvl 2 tools through Smithing.

Unlike the Wilderness, Frostmere does not contain stone or coal nodes. Its mining route is focused on metal ore.

Snowy forest	Calm level-gated area with no PvP.

Frostmere requires minimum average skill level 20.

Average skill level 20	Based on the core skills. Smithing does not count toward Total Level.
Route	Enter from Whisperwood.

Frostmere is the only known area where players mine Metal ore.
