Chef Hat is a cosmetic appearance item for the hat slot. It changes how your character looks and does not grant combat or skilling bonuses.

"A tall pleated toque, as worn by people who can actually cook — purely for style."

How To Get
* Cook at any Roast Pit — every cook that comes out cooked rolls 1 in 40,000 for the Chef Hat
* Buy from other players on the Marketplace

Cooking has dropped the Chef Hat since 28 September 2026. It is rolled before the Apron (1 in 20,000), so a single cook drops at most one of the two. Burnt food rolls nothing, and free-play accounts don't get drops. When it drops, the pit tells you "You found a Chef Hat while cooking!" and it goes to your cosmetic bag — if that bag is full, the hat is lost, though the cook itself still goes through.
