Its entrance is a stone hill with a timber-framed cave mouth, marked on the world map with a pickaxe icon. Inside, the [[Old Miner]] teaches [[Mining]] and hands out a free starter [[Pickaxe]], and the cave floor is dotted with rock nodes to swing it at.

The Mine follows the Mainland's safe rules — no PvP, and nothing is lost here.

Any pickaxe works here, including the starter [[Pickaxe]]. For [[Iron Ore]] you need [[Frostmere]]'s rocks (Mining 5), and for [[Silver Ore]] the Dunes (Mining 20) — The Mine itself is stone and coal country.
