Black Party Hat is a cosmetic appearance item for the hat slot — a party hat folded from the same paper as the coloured ones, in black. It is the rarest of the Halloween 2026 cosmetics. It changes how your character looks and does not grant combat or skilling bonuses.

How To Get
The Black Party Hat is one of the three Gold-tier prizes of the Haunted Chest. Buy the chest from the Chest Vending Machine on the Mainland for 15 Gold — it is free to open. Each open has a 2% chance to land on the Gold tier, which then picks the Black Party Hat 10% of the time, so every open has a 0.2% chance (1 in 500) to award the hat. The Haunted Chest is sold until 2 November 2026 00:00 UTC; chests already bought still open after that. The Black Party Hat isn't sold in any shop.

Or buying it from other players on the Marketplace.

Note: The Black Party Hat is not one of the six coloured party hats that Zahir the Dyeweaver's Rainbow Party Hat recipe takes.
